Jan 19 - 'Tai Chi Treasures' Seminar Starts
This seminar runs for 4 weeks starting Monday, January 19, 2026 from 7.10-8.20pm at Second Presbyterian Church, 4200 St Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21218. The course tuition fee is $60 and you can sign up via the Tai Chi Seminar link on our payment page.
In this class you will learn exercises rooted in the practices of Tai Chi, Qigong, Zhan Zhuang (meditation) as well as the Hawaiian Huna health practices. The goal of the class is for these practices to bring health, wellness, and vitality into your daily life. With ancient wisdom we can turn every moment of our lives, including everyday activities such as walking, sitting, standing, and breathing, into opportunities for self-care and greater awareness. Here are some of the benefits of such practices:
- Improved sleep
- Less feelings of stress and anxiety, greater ability to stay calm and relaxed
- Greater vitality, and improved health and wellness
- Prevention or improvement of back pain
- Development of qi and greater understanding of the role of qi
- Integrating tai chi and qigong practices into your daily activities
- Improve your daily movements including walking, climbing stairs, and sitting
- Apply the principles of tai chi to deal with difficult people and situations
When you arrive at the class, please use the ‘sundial’ entrance on the corner of St Paul and Stratford streets. Parking is on the street. Questions? Call (410) 296 4944 or email info@baltimoretaichi.com. You can register for this class online via Baltimore Tai Chi’s website at baltimoretaichi.com/schedule or at the first class.
