Our feature film, The Professor: Tai Chi’s Journey West, is a brand new documentary about legendary tai chi master Cheng Man-Ching, the man who brought tai chi to the West. This film tells the story of his remarkable life and that of his American students who embraced his art.  Professor Cheng, as he was known, brought the greatest arts of China to America during an era of change. He was considered  “The Master of The 5 Excellences”, those arts consisting of poetry, painting, calligraphy, medicine, and tai chi. .
